Hydroponics Guide was started by HydroponicsWizard in May 2010. Since then he has been joined by a long-term friend TheDuke who helps out with the day-to-day running and also contributes with some valuable information and news from the world of hydroponics. Both are vastly experience and are always happy to answer any questions you may have.
HydroponicsWizard
The Hydroponics Wizard and his partner have been interested in the growing of plants without the need for soil for many years. It started as a whim and has turned into a full blown obsession, all because the flat where he was living at the time didn’t have a garden! He started this blog to share his love of all things hydroponics and try to help the many people who are struggling to find their way. He had the following to say:
“I hope to convince a few of my fellow hydroponics users to guest post a few articles here and there, so watch out for those. Above all, I hope that you will find some juicy information that interests you and helps you with all of your hydroponics needs.”
TheDuke

The Duke has been growing hydroponically for longer than he care to remember and really hopes he can assist whoever might read his ramblings with anything hydroponics related. He likes to think he helped HydroponicsWizard get involved in this wonderful world and really hopes they can both contribute to you achieving some great growing results. He had this to say:
“Hydroponics? Excellent stuff. If you are interested in growing anything at all then it can’t hurt to take a look”
Don’t worry he isn’t really that funny old fellow from a certain popular TV show, but simply our vastley experienced hydroponics and all round gardening enthusiast. A man of very few words, so when he does post be sure to check out what he has to say as it is usually golden advice. He had this to say:
“I’ve been working as a gardener for the last 21 years at some excellent grounds around the Kent area. I’ve seen some wonderful things and experienced some astonishing moments in my life and I am extremely glad to have this opportunity to share them with you”
A recent recruit here at HydroponicsGuide, Freddie actually got the “gig” by contacting us and simply asking if he could contribute. We checked to make sure that he knew what he was talking about and he spoke with so much enthusiasm and passion that we couldn’t possibly turn him down. Much like how a football team makes a new signing we are very excited to see what he can give us for the following season. He had this to say:
“This is a great opportunity for me. I can’t wait to get started!”
Let’s hope he performs better on the pitch…
